Hinton Publishing is a brand new publishing imprint in Seattle, we’re focused on authors in the PNW who belong to communities that have been historically underinvited to publish their stories. We are working on a number of exciting projects. We have a roster of vital and important books both published and on their way. Every month we will be creating and publishing a literary ePublication, Speak the Sojourner. And we will be looking through submitted books and manuscripts to create our 2025 and 2026 lineup.

We are looking for interns who:

• Are local to us in the PNW ideally in King County, WA

• Read book submissions, and make recommendations to Hinton Leadership about whether or not to publish them.

• Read submissions for Speak the Sojourner, and help curate issues.

• Create a social media plan to promote our brand, our books, and our ePublication. Make and schedule the posts (both images and short videos for Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, and Twitter).

• Come to regular virtual meetings
